Revisar el Robot de Interiores

Hey!!!

Hope you are all doing well. We have been working in trying Nero to work properly but there are several things that won't let us achieve any progress. Today we tried testing a Floppy unit but since we didn't have 3 1/2 disks we couldn't know if it's working properly, from the part of getting power sources and other resources as far as now we haven't had much problem thankfully.
Also Laura´s brother (who built rescue robot a.k.a Kahuil) said that we should use that robot because it may work with player also.
Finally tomorrow will go to the lab in order to work with the execution of the playernav tool around 4:00 if anyone wishes to join us :D. Bye. Regards

  1. Hi Arturo,

Please don't bother to use neither floppy disks or to use another robot. I would recommend all of you to focus in your tickets and only in the tasks you need to finish as soon as possible. If it is the case your ticket requires of another task/ticket like now the pioneer working, before assigning it to any of your team mates or yourselves you should talk to us first. You can blog-post, email, call, visit or chat to Jorge or me, to talk about such problems and decide as a team.

It might sound difficult and stressing to don't see the robots working but we hope we can get them working at some point. Otherwise the important part of all these tasks are the skills you are learning and achieving in the scope of the whole project rather than its conclusion. The skills you are learning in this project are important because we want to see you making the best of your knowledge in your future career or preferably keeping on the track of robotics. We want to see all of you here next year but we want to see you doing well. Therefore, there are a set of skills you need to know to make your profile competitive in any international Research and Development environment.

Finally, if you feel the tasks are difficult or not doable we can set an Skype appointment (In spanish... ;-) ) to talk about it. Personally, I am impressed of the team and the energy you three have (with Carlos G. and Laura too). We have recently divided and recognised your work as the "Hardware" team for comparing the improvements (or hesitation) with the "Software" team based only upon your tickets.

Many thanks for your personal effort and keep on going on your tickets.

    Kind regards,

    Renato.
